As I sat looking at another post requesting money for ministry to men, I wondered how many guys actually support an outreach to men? How many understand the problem with men in todays culture? Or for that matter, the problem with men throughout history? It never boils down to a single issue, but in general, I believe it is a matter of example. We are often thrust into positions of natural authority without the tools to understand it or to shape it for the good of ourselves or others.
This is where Men's Ministry is so important. You don't know what you don't know. Your only experience is within the context of how you were raised by your parents. There is so much more. You have so much more inside you than you even realise. Being set free beyond your current limitations/hangups is what its all about.
